What type of certification is required — notarisation or the bureau's stamp?
When translating documents from Spanish into Lithuanian for submission to Lithuanian state institutions, notarisation of the translation is generally not required. A stamp from our bureau and the translator's signature are sufficient. This service is provided FREE OF CHARGE.
When translating a document into Spanish, notarisation of the translation will most likely be required, which takes an additional 1–2 days.
In some cases in Spain, a double apostille may be required on translated documents. This is a procedure whereby two apostilles are affixed to a single document - one to the original or notarised copy, and another to the completed notarised translation - however, it is necessary to know the specific requirements of the institution to which the document is to be submitted.
